    Hello Shih Tzu people

Post by ukmouse on Thu Sep 29, 2011 3:22 pm

My name is Amii and my family is considering a Shih Tzu or Shih Tzu Bichon X and basically just wanted advice. We have an 8 yr old daughter and 1 cat. Is this where I get to ask questions from you experts? Please guide me to correct forum topic and I will post my questions there. Basically it's about leaving a pup when working (or is that just plain cruel?) and how/where best to leave it. I am from Calif and have had many dogs but they lived outside due to great weather and need a more indoor type small dog here in England. So, point me in the right direction and please educate me!!
    Cheers
    Amii

    Hallo and welcome to HST

Do you work full time?? only any reputable breeder will not let a puppy go to anyone who is away for long hours

Shiddies are real people dogs and hate being left on their own for hours on end

Shiddies are brill with kids so no problem with your eight year old

Best place to ask questions would be in the Shihtzu section of the forum cheers cheers

I agree if left for more than 3 hours daily then i dont think its right on the dog and remember puppies need lots of time when young xx
