Anyways.. Last Friday (3 December) I bought an engagement ring for my GF kinda late (say 1030pm from someone that was selling it brand new). As I got to the exit for the highway that would start me on my trip to her place (she lives in Lawrenceville, GA which is up above Atlanta) I had a choice to make) Go home and wait until 6am the next day or go ahead a go that night. My hear tchose that night. So, after a 4hr trip I got there around 330am after a stop at Wal-Mart. I call her from the car and she didn't answer at first. So I called again. This time she picked up and she asked what was wrong. I told her nothing. She heard the chimes on my car from the door being open and she asked me if I was home. I told her yeah and then "open the door".
She was not feeling too good that day. She was in some old sleep clothes, had taken some Nyquil and had no make-up on. NOT the way I was supposed to see her she says.. lol. Anyway, I'm just gazing at her and then drop to one knee and proposed to her. She said it was the most beautiful thing she had ever been through. She said yes.
Our date is set for 14 January.
