Re: Welcome Shihtzumumtobe
Hi
! I'm getting my little one in june. She(well if there is a girl in the litter) is still in her mum's belly right now hehe.
It will be my first time owning one so I'm very excited about it! Been researching like mad and playing with friend's dogs and just love them.

Re: Welcome Shihtzumumtobe
Yes, it will be my first shih tzu but not my first dog.
Always had cross/mutt rescue dogs before.
Thanks PL, Do a lot of people not research their choosen breed? I would think it's a must!

Re: Welcome Shihtzumumtobe
Oh dear......I've hit a dilemma.
I have found my breeder's bebo (UK social networking site) and I don't like what I see, it looks to me like a byb :S
I have only emailed and chatted on the phone with her so far and she seemed like fine but it was basic getting to know each other, I was planning on asking questions once the litter was born.
I feel I have made a mistake and I have seen the sire's bebo page and he looks quite...scruffy not a typical stud dog in my view anyway....I'm scared now that she is just a byb and will not have done the relevant health checks and is just out to make money.
Like I said I'm all very new to buying pedigree dog so from what I have researched this is setting off alarm bells :S

I say trust your instints and stay away. We have a list on here that might be able to help point you in the right position. I wish there was more people like you out there.
Dont give up your special baby will be out there somewhere.
