Hi my name is Tammy and I have three little Tzu boys Harley 2 year all most 3 on 2/18/10, Poe and Yuki are going to be 2 on 11/26/09, these little guys are my little loves and they know it.

That is funny because the day I rescued these two I found out from they're AKC papers (yes I got they're papers) when they were born, it was ment to be because that is my birthday also.


Here is they’re story

They are my two rescues, a breeder was being shut down by the state of Oklahoma because of the condition of her dogs and it was really bad and any way a show friend from Texas called me and told me this was happening and told me if I still wanted one of the 7 month old puppies I was looking at I needed to go now and when I got there the breeder brought me the boys, they were so matted to the skin and covered in feces it made me sick and I looked at her and asked her how much because I was not leaving there without either of them and she told me what ever and I gave her $50 when she had them on her website for 750 apiece and she looked at me and I told her" I know about the state coming here, she was like ok take them" and I told her there will be other coming to get the other puppies out of here and I was right they were right there when I was leaving there was one of my other friends and they were taking all the rest of the dogs and puppies because they are a shih tzu rescue and did not want the state to get the puppies because you never know what will happen to the puppies and they could get them homes when the state might just put them to sleep and then I get this call later that night the state was there the same day and they wanted to know and see the two boys and I told them sure come and see them and I also told them that I had shaved and bathed them, my vet was seeing them in the morning and they asked what condition they were in, I told them and they asked why I took them, I told them I was not leaving them there because I knew what would of happened to them and was not having that happen and then I find out that if it was not for my friends and I the breed was going to put all her dogs and puppies to sleep because she did not want the state to have them she used to be a good breeder and she had gone downhill is what I was told.
She did not know when the state was going to do this but she already new it was going to happen, and that is why she was planning to put them to sleep and she told one of her friends and that friend is the reason all those babies are still alive, because she called the rescues she that she new and told them about what was about to happen and my friend from Texas also is involved in rescues when she is not at a show.

This kind of thing happens all the time here in Missouri, Oklahoma and Arkansas and I did not know how bad it was till I was at this breeder place and I was really upset after I left there and I would do this again in a heartbeat.

At the time I was only looking for one puppy, for a companion for Harley and after I got home, I told my DH that I was going to rehome Poe and he told me ya right you will fall in love and that only took 24 hours and I was hooked .LOL

I love this breed and my boys are so loving and sweet, you would not know the two started life like this.
