I'm annoyed it's posted on UK forum and we have to read that and can't do anything about it! Sorry If I'm talking out of line, but what was the point in this?

And yes, having scheduled PTS is shocking.

gosh this is awful and even worse that no one here can even adopt him if this shelter is in the US?

how upsetting, perhaps its post over here in the hope someone living in the US will be on a uk forum that love shih tzus??!does that make sense?

To be honest he can be rehomed here if someone were to pay for his passport ect to help him, maybe even get a fund going to try and help him

This is awful. The date says 19th October - has this dog already been put to sleep?

We do have American members as well as UK and Europe so it's a good a place as any.

The shelter HAS tried to get the dog in a rescue, but so far unsuccesful. Our rescues here are as full as our shelters. It is a terrible lose. I get the euthanasia list from 3 shelters and I try my best to get the word out to the public that there are great dogs in shetler being pts simply because the shelters are full and so are the rescues.

Max is still available. He has NOT been PTS yet. This shelter has a little more flexibility than others, which completely depends on how many dogs are adopted and how many more are taken in.

Here is his petfinder ad, http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=14876314 for some reason the link in my original msg isn't working.
Please pass this one to dog lovers in the US

I could ask the rescue here if they would help maybe bring him to the UK, I feel so sorry for this little man,

Maybe we could start a fund for him so that he isnt pts, and let others know about him, maybe then he could have a chance

I know its a long shot but better than he has if somebody dosent help

I looked on the web site to find that Max has been adopted

Great news for him, he looks so sweet bless this little one

I still find it hard to believe that so many dogs, surely breeders should be held accountable for what they breed and should take the dog back and find them good homes or keep them.

Sadly this little dog would have been pts this sounds barbaric in this day and age
